Join the Conversation with Rockwell Collins at AUVSI Unmanned Systems North America 2011
With NextGen and SESAR air traffic management systems emerging, the convergence of manned, unmanned and optionally manned aviation is no longer an issue of ”if,” but “when.” Rockwell Collins (Booth 2221) is inviting conference attendees to “Join the Conversation” on these topics throughout AUVSI 2011.
Rockwell Collins will be asking conference attendees to share their views on video regarding what is needed to implement NextGen, SESAR and UAV operations in all airspace. These videos will become part of the company’s newest eBook – "The Coming Revolution in Airspace Operation: Preparing for NextGen and SESAR … Today." Other industry leaders who have shared their opinions for the eBook include Aerospace Industries Association President and CEO Marion Blakey and EUROCONTROL Principal Director of Air Traffic Management Bo Redeborn.
Questions participants will be asked include:
- What is your organization doing today to get ready for NextGen and/or SESAR?
- What are the critical technologies needed to improve automation and efficiency in aircraft and air traffic management?
- What is the role of UAVs and optionally piloted aircraft both today in the future?
Please provide your preferred day (Tuesday 8/16 or Wednesday 8/17) and time for your short video interview to Maureen Stevens at mpsteven@rockwellcollins.com or 540-878-2251.
